is it made correctly ??
tga 32 32 somfin etc:

can you test your shaders by taking objteam1 load screen renmaing it yourtga.tga and see if the shaders are ok.
if it loads your shaders are fine and your own TGA is foobed.

I would make it for you but i dont have a clue how to i get someon else to do it for me.

what size does the .tga have to be? i am having the same prob.
but it has worked before on a different but smaller .tga.

i have tried to resize the .tga that doesn't work but still no luck.

have you tried any tutorials??

you need the image sized to 512x512 pixels AND saved as a .tga
you need the ui/loading script setup right also.... AND in the main .scr you need the proper lines. I had similar problems and had to insert the loading pic file name in two locations.

IF you downloaded my Tractor Works map, the .scr is in there and you can copy and paste the related lines then change the file directory and file name. That would be quickest. I'd post it but don't have access to it on this machine at the moment.

A good tutorial I used is here: http://users.1st.net/kimberly/Tutorial/obj.htm and you might find one on this site so check there also. But remember to see my .scr file as I followed the tuts I found and they wouldn't work until I copied and pasted the file name in TWO places in the .scr......... ever since it works 100%.

Unless you have some transparent areas in you picture use a jpeg instead. It is smaller and less prone to errors from the encoding style a paticular paint program may use for targa.
