Hi all
For some of you this is old news, but I'm working on a project with flyable planes, named 'skylimit' until I can think of a better name. Anyway, in this map/mod you can only use planes to kill your enemies.
Also I tried to make a realistic flight model which is not too hard to fly. See the movie for a short flight demonstration
So uhm, take a looksie

oh, i was wondering about the skybox on mohpa, what happens if u fly too far, in stock maps and in your map? will the plane turn around, explode, the same as in bf1942 or do what? Thanks

we used triggers on the wall. 1 each wall that simple teleport u to the other side of the map. (other wall)
new origin = oposide wall + a lil more so u dont hit it, fareplane so much u dont notice:D

sry, but what is it like in mohpa? (TOOL CLAN had the flying script on their server, if you flew out of the map, you had to turn around

Do it like most games do.. have a radio transmission come in saying "You are leaving battle soldier, turn back immediately or be shot down!"
If they don't turn back.. make them explode.
Of course, with this type of prevention, you would have to give them margin ...

Yea that would be one of the best, the teleport thingy would look a bit fake I guess.

Great to fly and great fun JV, well impressed!!
(hope u been gettin some hrs flight time in - need some decent opponents) hehe
The physics in these are awesome, very Pro-Flying mod!!!
Edit - Oh wow - just watched the movie - nice touch with the landing gear - very nice

I also tried wmv but the file was bigger and looked
way uglier than the mkv.
Anyway yes Fungus it was me flying
