State of the Forums

Hopefully we'll be able to transfer the emergency posts over to the correct forums when we get a backup from gamespy (I have good hopes they have a backup from December 18th).

I'm also looking into using a program that makes a daily backup... (I know I should've done that earlier

).

So far I think it's best to keep the forums locked until I get a reply from gamespy tech and we know how to proceed further.

If we only lost a month or 2 that wouldnt be so bad. I think there were only one or two revelations within the last several months but nothing I'm sure that we couldn't repost. I think we can thank JV for at least having a backup. I can't tell you the number of times i've thought to myself, " you know i really should have backed that up first

And u didnt made weekly backups of your 5* forum? AieAieAie...dont worry you will be for sure published in the UNESCO World Heritage very soon

Im sure we discussed the back ups a couple months back when there were those constant errors. A few weeks of lost posts wouldnt be a total disaster.

i read someone sed the posts in other forums were gone, but a few days ago i managed to read some, i coudnt reply obv becasue forums are locked... why not just unlock the forums and try them out? make a backup b4 like, but it cant hurt if u have a back-up...
