Fogging Help/opinion

Post by kdja »

Im adding fog to my map and wondered what was the best way im looking for an early morning feel.
$world farplane_color "0.752941 0.752941 0.752941"
level.fogplane = 6500 !
$world farplane level.fogplane

I add this into my script here>
level.script = maps/obj/dieppe.scr
exec global/ambient.scr dieppe

//$world farplane 5000
//$world farplane_color (.333 .333 .329)
IN HERE???????

Thx

Script

Well, you can add it with the script:

level.farplane = 6000
level.farplanecolor = (.7 .7 .55)

$world farplane 6000
$world farplane_color (.7 .7 .55)

Or, you can add it to any worldspawn brush (like the top sky brush). $World effects everything including indoors. But, level... can be changed by a trigger when the player goes into different areas.

try this too:

level.ambientlight = (7 6 4.6) // play with the colors to get what you want
