shift F then select your triangle by Ctrl shift lmb, then tick Delete(neighbours at max detail)
Seere.

Oh and to see what you have deleted go to lod terrain-->colour surface flags.

Select the facet as seere posted, and use Colour Bla bla, whatever its called in the lod options, the button below shade i think... It should appear in radiant as a see-throughy-dull-algierswallcolour.

It hould work no problem the way I explained, as Mj said tho you must have LOD Terrain/colour surface flags to see what you have cut away in radiant, when compiled it should dissapear ingame.

hmm... not... exactly what i wanted, but it's helpful to know

i meant cutting holes in LOD, here's my dilemma.

i have a small bunker made out and set into a hill, problem is, the hill happens to be in the way. so i want to carve out a piece of the hill on both ends and fit the "broken" ends to the sides of the bunker. i've had this happen before (cutting LOD) and it worked, but that wasnt it, that just covered the bunker completely.

that's exactly what was described above. :?

left is in radiant, right in mohaa. the faces u checked as deleted in radiant are still visible there (yellowish), but in mohaa, there's the desired hole. U'd have to move/build ur bunker according to the lod's grid though...

Maybe a pic of what u want?
