no, not LOD cutting.

i mean the detach selected patches thing, i've gotten THIS to work too, but alas, my well of knowledge has been vanished.

so.

how do i detatch a 512/512 patch to texture it or whatever? :?:

Oki,

To texture the 512 square alone: Ctrl + Shift + RMB

To detatch the 512 square i.e. delete or move: Ctrl + Shift + RMB then Shift + X

If you want to dissapear individual facets: Shift + F, then use Ctrl + Shift + RMB to select the individual facets, then check the Delete box in the Edit Facet Flags menu.

If you are only textureing it you don't need to detach it just select it with control shift click .

i meant i havea huge patch of LOD i'vealready merged and i want to change the textures, but Mj had exatly what i needed ;)
