Dont know why, but when I compile and test the map out, it is very choppy. Any methods of getting rid of this?

As in a low fps ?? - You might want to look at the portalling, and reducing polys/Tarik wrote: it is very choppy.

Well look at this document (http://w1.261.telia.com/~u26123488/vis/ ... ummies.htm) it should explain about portalling. As for the poly count - although this description isn't accurate, I like to think of them as triangles (use r_showtris 1 in your console). The more poly's you have the more rendered by the game engine which takes up CPU usage lowering your fps (use fps 1 in your console).Anonymous wrote:dont know how to tell about fps. I suspect your problem is probably a leak, since you say it is a small map. Check the compile process out put, I use a batch file, but mbuilder must do it somehow.
