Don't take this for literal. Yesterday I started a compile which then was saying 165h left.Roach wrote:I started one -final and stopped it after Mohpile saying 40hrs left.
Seem's like to me a map this large you would build a new building or watertower or whatever in a seperate map. Compile it and check it out, once your sure it's perfect make it a prefab or just copy it into your big map.
Is that logical?
Is that logical?

this is gonna sound liek spam but that's what i do, i have a persistant map i call messabout.map. it's jsut various test junk i've made. compile time is nil and i apply artificial settings to the map according to whatever map a building or LOD or whatever is going to go into.

some people say "its only 5p a day" or whatever others say " thats an extra ?1825 that could be avoided" and others just find it better to turn it off.

as lizardkid said, no, it wont compile on hibernate mode, BUT it doesn't crash either when u set ur pc in this mode, so u can - even during compile - calm ur mom and dad by "switching it off" for some hours and continue ur compilation as soon as u mayMaster-Of-Fungus-Foo-D wrote:let me ask this. its off topic but.. would the compiler still work on hibernate mode?

I reboot about once or twice a week. My electric bill for Nov=42.00 dollars and Dec=49.00 dollars. I live in a 3K Sq. foot house.
