Since were on about texturing, is it possible to load the settings of a particular texture into the surface inspector.
What I mean is, say I've aligned a texture, but then adjusted the brush, hence I need to adjust the texture. However if I select the face, it doesn't set the current settings in the surface inspector, and I'd have to completly re-align it. This causes me alot of problems because I can't always remember the exact setting, the texture size for example.
Also one of the functions I'm used to in Wc is being able to select one face of a brush, and transfer the settings of that texture to another face. This is simply done by selecting a face, and right clicking another face. Is there an equivalent function in MoHRadiant, as it saves alot of time.

thers that exact function, i use it all the time . . .
in preferences do you have it on 2 or 3 mouse buttons? itll either be middle click or right cilck (3 or 2 button respectively)
i had this set on 2 button mouse and it was a pain in the . . because whenever id go to move the camera (right-clicking), it would texture whatever i clicked on with whatever texture i had currently selected. argh.
. but i fixed it.
but now i have a problem with aligning textures. i dont know what happened, i dont think i changed any settings. the texture toolbar at the bottom of the screen with the scale and shift . . well the arrows up and down dont do anything anymore - well they actually reset the texture to default if i click on one. and typing the numbers into the boxes is not only a pain in the . . . but it also doesnt seem to work correctly anymore. and the "fit" button (or whatever its called) really squishes the textures up badly, not even close to fitting. shortly after this started, radiant crashed. i restarted my comp but it still doesnt work.
anyone know whats going on?
hmm a month later..but thats ok. . .
and WHY is my geocities-uploaded immage not working anymore?! impossible to upload anything these days. . .

I have the same problem!
If I select a texture, apply it to a brush side, hit S and resize, rotate it etc then it’s
possible to apply it to other brush sides as long as I don’t have selected any other
texture in the texture window. Just select the next brush side, press S and press
apply, it will get the same settings as the recent one.
But the problem is as you said, two days later when you added a brush or made
some changes and want to add the texture with the exact settings as earlier then
how can you get the info of the setting! Can’t write down every setting and it will not
show up if I select the brush side and hit S.
Don’t think that the 3/2 mouse button thing is any help for this? It would have been
perfect if you just could select a brush and see the actual setting for it when you press S.

Select the surface that you have as correct and then press the middle button on that surface. The surface inpector will then have the settings used on that surface.

. . . it also makes it so the pieces line up - if you have 3 pieces to a wall (or whatever) you can do the middle (or right) click thingy and the textures go together seamlessly
