Fog

Post by <[OneX]>ObiWan »

Hi all,

i have an interesting question( i think). Is it possible to "place " fog in certain parts of a map(f.i. between two hills or in a canyon). In the surface inspect there is an item fog that you can put on or off. Tried to play with it but it doesnt seem to have much effect. Been looking around ( there is a question about fog in this forum but ) that but i cant find an answer to this one( the particular fog item in the surface insp). tx for the answer in advance.
Greetings

You cant create volumes of fog that only cover specific areas, only all or nothing.... but if you want to create a fog in the distance, in an are the player will never reach: then you could use a semi transparent texture to create the illusion on a fog...
