Drop clip while reloading

I want to create a mod so the clip of a gun (like the smg) would be dropped while reloading.
I tried to do this by stealing the empty clip stuff of the garand, change it a bit (for the clip model etc) and putting it in the tik files of the guns I want to use for this mod.
I messed around with it for a while but I can't get it worked :cry:, can someone help me a bit with this one please?

Whoa, I think it's not possible... AFAIK, the Garand empty clip has an SKC, too, and I think that's why it doesn't work.

Isn't there any way I can make it that it will emit or drop a clip model from the player or whatever when reloading?

dunno if theres a waittill reload.. but you can prolly make a new tag_spawn with another spawner for an empty clip.

only way i see it.

No, nevermind I already got it working (weapon tik files) :wink:

oh btw, how can I make it so you won't see a model through an other object like a wall, I can see the ammo clip through everything.
I thought it was done in the shaders, but the gun is using the same shader as the clip, you won't see the gun through objects. I found nothing in the tik files to do this?

this is so odd ya. happens with everything like! maybe try cache them in the tik too. like the bazooka shel clipl is cached.
