I just had the oppotunity to run through the map and check everything out. For your first map, you did a great job. There are lots of twists and turns, and it looks like it'll be a lot of fun with a decent amount of people.

The FPS are excellent, and I didn't see any major errors that stood out. The only thing I can say that would improve the visual quality (I'm speaking strictly eye-candy here) would be re-scale a few of your textures and use a few different brick textures to create some more variety. Some of the texturing on your meshes is a little wonky, but as I said earlier, NONE of this effects the gameplay, which looks to be great, and I'm sure that you're only going to improve as you continue to map.

The only real thing I didn't like was this:

Once you jump into that corner, you're stuck. I tried numerous times to see if I could get out, and I couldn't. I'm not sure if this is intentional (to trap campers  ), or was a simple oversight.

Anyway, great job, and I look forward to seeing what else you make in the future.

This map looks great, and if it is your first map: it looks even better :)
A lot of people do not play SH. I have it, but I dont play it... I just think it has lst the exactness that I like about AA.

If there is no special SH features in a map, I see no reason not to put in 5 hours more to find replacement AA models and textures. A map that can run in AA and the expansions will pe mre popular I think. But then again, I havent tested your map: so maby the gameplay is SH specific.

Great job!

This map is Great! We have been playing it on our sh server! Great layout and gameplay here.

I agree with Bjarne though about the the choice of making it a sh map. I am making my map with aa radiant for our sh server. I started out with sh but switched everything as soon as i learned that the sh built maps dont work in aa. (could this be a tutorial - which radiant do i use and why?)

Unless there is a specific reason, like TOW maybe? Seems even the textures, if you really needed them could be brought back to aa.

If you are not interested in converting this one back - I will convert your .map to aa for you if you like me to. I think it would be very popular in aa.
