Happen to me once. First time I complied map, was fine using Mbuilder.

I made the mistake of deleting the bsp file. Next time I complied had the same problems. Perhaps Mbuilder retains the information from first complie and wants the bsp it created.

My fix was to select everything in map and export to a new map file, save and complie. Worked fine and has been every since.

Well the compiler is the same. It's just better not to have Radiant soak your memory when compiling.

Oh, really? I used it and it displays "Bad command or file name". Anyway, MBuilder is better.
