Try saving it 'darker' [Image > Adjustments > Brightness/Contrast] so that it appears right in other programs?

:P I really dont know, i dont have this problem but i'd just wing it and make it darker to start off with so it gets brighter... :?

setup

Post by tltrude »

You have not set up photoshop correctly. There is a program named "Adobe Gamma Loader" that runs in the background at the start up of your computer. It adjusts the brightness of Windows and Photoshop, so that it is the same for all who see your work. But, the settings in that program must be adjusted to match your monitor's settings.

Hope that helps.

Adobe Gamma utility

Post by tltrude »

Search for "Adobe Gamma utility". I don't have CS, so I'm not sure where it is. Normally it is part of setup when you first install it. You should find instructions in help.
