Selectable high jump

I want to use high jump in certain maps only.

by calling state file from map scr with get g_statefile

Edited mikes.legs to set jump 500 - works in all maps if i save it as mikes.legs and put in global

But dont want it for all maps.

Tried saving as mjump mjump.legs mjump.st and calling the renamed file in map.scr

Just getting console errors

couldnt load mjump_Legs.st

Going barmy here ...grrrrrrrrrrr

And u have made a copy of mike_legs.st and renamed it to mjump_legs.st ?

works fine for me, Iv? made a couple of edited mike_legs.st, mike_torso.st and mike.st-files that I toggle via an ingame menu.

yep

tried naming it:

mjump
mjump_legs
mjump_legs.st

make a new pk3 with folder global


calling with

getcvar "g_statefile" "mjump_legs"
getcvar "g_statefile" "mjump"
getcvar "g_statefile" "mjump_legs.st"


I must be screwing up syntax somewhere

i sorted it

too many mikes :oops:

its mike_legs

not mikes_legs

I shouldnt be getting stuck on basic stuff but sometimes the yorkshire gene kicks in - then I all goes wrong :P

i replied on mods r us. I gave u an example.

the reason being its ur setcvars.


getcvar "g_statefile" "mjump_legs"
getcvar "g_statefile" "mjump"
getcvar "g_statefile" "mjump_legs.st"

sud be

getcvar "g_statefile" "global/mjump"
