Zoom doubts

Hi :P

I have two question : :oops:

Why the sniper weapon dissapear when zoom is on , Somebody knows
some way to make appear weapon when zoom is on ???

I have doubts about shader's , is posible make zoom effect with shader ???

i dont think so for either. no idea how to make a weapon not draw for one player only :(

maybe +alwaysdraw

maybe the gun is just out of view.

yes... all the zoom does is cange to HUD to have a zoomed scoped on it... the player isnt really looking thru the scope.... just at texture and a zoomed up circle in the middle attatched to the eyebone...

Nah nah nah... :P The view is just zoomed to match the FOV value specified in the TIKI, and the gun is out of view just like Elgan said. ;)

if it makes u feel good u cud do it in SP but my fov cmd dont work.

Hi Guys :P

I tried with fov 80 and 100 and when shoot I can see the muzzflash and shell pullout too , and this occour because the weapon bones not dissapear , is like a gun without shader :roll: , very strange effect :o .
About zoom shader somenews ?
Any idea ?

The textures/hud/zoomoverlay shader is in the hud.shader in pak0.pk3/scripts. Below is a set of scopes (Allied and Axis) that I helped to make.

It looks like this, but without the numbers in the center. You can open the pk3 and see the files that were modified/created to do it.

Hi tltrude

Is posible make zoom or magnification effect with shader , without hud sniper ?
I see the water effect shader but only change image view :roll:
