Enterprise - Canceled!

Post by tltrude »

"The UPN network, which like Paramount is a unit of Viacom Inc., said it would end the TV show "Enterprise" in May after four seasons on air."

It's not fair! I only recently discovered the show, (my Cable does not have UPN), and now they are canceling it!

The site below has rasied 3 million dollars toward getting it back on the air. But, it would take 30 million dollars a season to do it. So, I dought they will ever get enough money, but please contribute your voice to the protest--if you are a fan!

I've watched Enterprise for a while now - not that i really enjoy it - but just to see how far the writers are going to screw with the original series.... never has one ship encountered so many time anomolies...... *sigh*

i think Star Trek the original series, remade with better graphics and actors with better hair gel would be a better hit than something original. all the newer ones are pretty much the same, except Stargate SG-1. those are the only two Sci-Fi series i have ever liked.

I guess you have to download and watch the first 86 hours in a row (commercial free) to really see how great it is. It is up to 92 hours now--I keep watching them over-n-over, of course. Trekies rule!

Only think I don't like about the show is how Scott Bakula is always talking with his back to people--probably a TV actor's trick to keep his face on camera.

Plasma

Post by tltrude »

Yesterday I read an article that said the US Military is working on a new plasma weapon that can stun people (with pain) from two miles away. Star Trek not only entertains us, it shapes the future!!!

lol yea maybe, many things what you could see in old series or tv programs or even books which was only non fiction in that time, is already reality right now :D.
