The most realistic World War II experience has joined the gaming-market; Brothers in Arms.

The release of the Software Development Kit (SDK) is not unlikely, so the WWII experience can be created by you! .MAP will assist as well as new as experienced LevelDesigners. Some members actually made it to an official gamecompany! .MAP has it's name in development of levels for several WWII games, including Medal of Honor Allied Assault, Call of Duty, and now Brothers in Arms!

Brothers in Arms .MAP will offer:
? LevelDesigning Tutorials
? LevelDesigning Assistance
? Modification News
? Game Discussions
? The latest Brothers in Arms news
and many more

Hereby we are looking for somebody who is good in developing websites, and is willing to design the Brothers in Arms .MAP website.

The Brothers in Arms forums will open very soon. Stay tuned for more information.

Kind Regards,

Major Pain

We've discussed this over at CoD .MAP. But we figured the forums would be chaotic. Plus, some of the staff members preferred everything sticked together (so only MoH, only CoD etc.). Maybe in the future we can merge or something. CoD II won't be the last WWII game I think...

ww2 games probably wont die until they run out of battle to re-create... or until they run out of MP ideas

This is something I favour, but many others don't....

Someday i will put it to a public vote....

Also it is one potential headache :)

Well if i had to vote i would agree that one place to have them all would be a good idea. I think it would be a good community move since i feel like a trator going over to the CoD forums to learn and comin back here to read. It would be a one stop WW2 shooters heaven.

Although i wouldnt know squat about how to admin such a monsterous undertaking as far as combining the actual forums and restructuring everything to one coherent place.

Not to bite off of what someone else did but i enjoy the TMT forums as well and it seems to work for them. Since a few of the fellas here have a plethera of knowledge on how they do it i would be inclined to leave the desicion up to them.

PS anyone know if there is a spell check on this thing?

One forum works well as long as the games are well supported by the members. We have made some mistakes with titles our members said they would support and in the end they were duds.

Personally we have too many at TMT but 3-4 core titles would be nice. As a modder, it helps you to be versed in different engines.

This game is using the Unreal engine... never really got used to unrealed. I'll still look into it once the tools are available.

I am proud to announce Call of Duty II .MAP.
Brothers in Arms is cancelled. It does not fit into the .MAP category.
We / I expect that CoD II will use .map's.

Currently I am working hard on the CoD II boards.

Stay tuned!
