Drunken AI?

Post by k47a »

Is it possible to make drunken or wounded AIs? I saw a drunken dude in MOH:SH (for PS2)... He was just lying on the ground and didn't really notice me :D

I remeber a long time ago playing the campaign that there was a drunken guard in a cellar,
the anims looked pretty good, he was staggering about singing to himself.
So the anims are there, same as the smoking anims.

Here's an example routine for a smoking AI.

Code: Select all

$guard1 thread slacker

slacker:
 self holster
 self.enableEnemy = 0
 while(isAlive self)
  {
   self anim smoking01
   self waittill animdone
   self anim smoking02
   wait (randomint(5) + 2)
   self anim smoking04
   self waittill animdone
   self anim salute
   self waittill animdone
  }
end

Hey thanks a lot, Grassy!
You mean a campaign in MOH:SH (PS2) or MOH:AA?
You wouldn't by chance remeber which campaign it was? :D

How could I find out where to find it? (:) )
I only have AA. I've done SH and I think I didn't see a drunken Kraut anywhere...
Anyway, thanks for the help, mate! :D

Any flat German would do (means: a German who's just unable to care about anything: like a drunk or sleeping or wounded soldier - or one who smoked too much weed :D ) ... Nobody knows where to find such a script??? PLEASE!!!! :D

remembering my last time smoking too much (!!) weed makes me believe u could use static_deadbodies_dday-german-base-pose-1. :?
I had no uniform of course, but I was told, that the rest looked quite similar (I didn't move either) :lol:

Thanks, I really didn't think about putting a stiff there... That's great! :D
So, Wacko, is that how you fill your sparetime (when you're not mapping - or maybe you do both? :D That could turn out in angles like Mj had 'em in his Dieppe map :lol: - looks great tough!!!)

Doing both makes things rather difficult for me.:lol: Although it might be beneficial for the creative part of mapping, it surely would complicate the implementation of these ideas.:wink:
Well, in any case, it's way better than being drunk 8-)
Ooops, am I spamming again? :oops:
