the death event isnt public in MP.

i think you can do it with $player[local.i] waittill death
but i could be wrong

that's what i meant, the waittill death doesn't work in MP.
at least, that's what i saw in a couple other posts. i've never tried it myself.

almost sure it does, the only thing that isn't working, is the dead state. when the player dies, it goes to dead for a very small time, after that it goes back to alive although the player very very dead

even if it did or didnt u can check that 30 over ways. but u still cant get who shot from it.

Exactly.
And it's much simpler to have a script executed when the KILLED state is entered instead of checking for death.
Waittill death doesn't work for players, you've got to use the while (isAlive(local.player)) waitframe stuff.

ja,. but ppl dont start using state files. i want them for my mods. isalve is just as good
