how to script?(for beginners)

hi im verry new at mapping and everything but what i dont understand is scripting??? what is it how dou you do it and when have you need it anyone, please help, make it a bit easy

Hi Mike! I'd advise you to check out all the scripting tutorials first. There are some easy scripts you can start with (e.g. give the player some weapons and stuff like that... I don't remeber where I found that one though).
I'd say as a beginner you don't need to do so much scripting (at least that's what I experienced so far). You can do quite a lot with mapping, I'd say (maybe I'm wrong as I'm a noob too

)
And, very helpful, check out the scripts in your moh folder (the ones for the actual game)! They help a lot and you can also just copy stuff in your script...

but i have this prob==> i want to try and make an pk3 file but it just doesn't work, i am starting to freak

Use pakscape to do your pk3 files.
