Saving a streamed media?

Post by lizardkid »

I really like the BiA E3 demo video, and i'd liek to save it to my HDD. It's only available to be streamed, but once it's completely d/led, can i save it to disk? is there a folder deep inside Windows that holds streamed data?

I could find lots of this stuff (like swf files) in the cache folders. In the IE cache, files seem to keep their extension (like .swf). In Firefox cache, I had to find them by searching for the files' date and size. These files there have just names like 2345A24DFF w/out extension, but sorting the search results by location and roughly knowing a size you'll be able to find the right one. You then can rename it and voil? u got ur file.
