Well then, Mj... If you ever find yourself with time to relax and no maps to review anywhere around, feel free to take a little view at any of those maps I left at http://map.mods-r-us.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=10318

It's not actually a "request" for review... It's more like an invitation...

(Of course, only if there's something nice to look at... 'Cause no review is always better than bad review...)

I'm sure I should be able to cook up something nice to say :)

Its nice to get an invitation after all this time, I've been rather bored in my new role

Well, I'm old fashioned... In fact, if it were at all possible, I would most certainly throw cold cocktails and snacks with that invitation...

Which proves that the net cannot do enough for old fashioned guys like me... Internet lacks real-time snacks and booze... That will be Silicon Valley's demise...

I believe .map would be one big cocktail party, but, alas, we are indeed confined to the realm of a forum... I most certainly empathise with your judgement of the internet! Master-Of-Fungus-Foods cookies hardly fill the gap... anyhow, I have a job to do! Expect at least one review tomorrow - or to minimise the amount of news space it takes up, I may just give jv a three pack of reviews

Its invite one, get two free week this week :P

Well, my dear Mj, once again I've been away for quite some time, so you can imagine my surprise and happiness when I discovered, today, both your kind and fair reviews of our maps...

I've got nothing but thanks, since it seems you went extremely nice on us, writing such good reviews... Off course, I'm happy with all the pros but, what makes me really happy is that I cannot argue or feel disappointed for anything that you identify as a "Con"... It must be recognized tu you, that when you say things like "I got a feeling the architecture was only there to support the textures" about the QUake map, you show a great sense for guessing, since that's true: one day we were trying to reproduce some of the old Quake effects and, one month later, we had a map born from that protomap that was our "texture testing area"...

Again, all the thanks in this world... Some mappers map to get their creations played by players... We map just for the pleasure of having our creations reviewed by Mj...

After that kind reply to my reviews, I'm sorely tempted to quickly write Reichstag review, and I apologise profusley for not having done it already... Exams (sadly) have been keeping me away from my PC.

As for the guessing, its all bred of pure experimentation and hardcore mapping  . I just love the shader work you guys did, its fantastic.
it seems you went extremely nice on us
I thought I was being quite objective really

The scores reflect my feelings on the maps, and they currently both hold high positions on the 'Ratings table'; You guys did a great job!
