Making a pk3

Hi. I'm new to this map making business and need a little help. I have successfully made a BSP file that works as a multiplayer deathmatch. Now, how do I make my map into a pk3 file? Everywhere I look it tells how to compile to a BSP, but there's nothing about pk3's which is what everyone distributes their maps as!

easy way to do it
is creat 7 folders name them:
Global<copy localisation file form PAK0 into here
Maps<create a fodler called OBJ within this one and BSP goes into that
Scripts ,place you scripts and shaders here
Textures,any custom textures and your loading screen go here
Ui your loading screen URC goes in here
Models and custom models in here
Music place a music file here
Ubersound place ubersounbd fomr PAK0 in here to get sound

Thats it ,to go into detail about the other files would take a lot of time so if you stuck on any one of those post back
some ppl only use 2 or 3 folders ,but above is how i do it.
