I got a question...

Post by k47a »

about modelling...

If I'd like to make a new 3D model (like, umm, e.g. a fish) how can I do that? Let's assume I got a 3D model done already (use Blender) how could I add this to the MOH stuff?
In the wonderful DM map with the windmill in the desert (I can't remember it's name right now), there's a bird circling in the sky... How did you do that?

(da hab ich mich ja mal wieder selbst ?bertroffen mit dieser Frage...)

panTeras map, I assume you are talking of - Rockbound - the bird is done by a textured script_objected brush :)

You can export models to mohaa .skd format either with the 3ds max plugin and skl_2_skX.exe that come with the spearhead SDK, or you could use ScorpioMidget's plug-ins for MilkShape (only .skb - no bones) or Lightray 3D. I find lightray most reliable (as compared to the others that is, it's still a dodgy program) but it requires you to buy the program before you can export. :(
