Now I found my BSP file but I can find my .prt file....... Where is it usally....
And does everyone else have like a .bak file and a .lin and a .vis file?
a .bak file is an automatic backup of your .map file you can use it if your .map file ever gets curupted in some way . .lin and a .vis are created when you try to compile a map with a leak in it that is also why you do not have a .prt file . Open radiant and choose file->pointfile and you will see a red line going from inside your map through the leak to the outside of your map . Fix the leak and you will have a .prt file and better frames per second because the vis stage of the compile was done .
I never had a leak............ Thanks for helping though, and when I do Save As it only gives me a .bak, and a .map file......... well on this test one i'm using anyways
