The resetting settings

I'm pulling out hair over this, swearing like a sailor, and it still isnt working

I reinstalled MOH recently (2 hours ago) and now whenever i start it up it defaults ALL my visual and audio settings EXCEPT brightness back to default.

I've run through and deleted the configs, set to write only after i output them, used the Configure, everything i can think of. Every time it starts it goes to 800x600 resolution, medium detail all across the board, and medium quality sound.

Any ideas?

Hmz, looks like you are running 'safemode' all the time then?

No, not the game or my comp. I quit either with te quit button or typing quit in console.

Had the same problem. Solved by putting all the maxed settings into my custom.cfg.

Try running the "GO_EZ.exe" program in the e-reg folder. Don't forget to install the patches for the game too.

Well i installed the patches and now it works pretty much fine. except for Volumetric smoke. but it's much better than resetting everything.
