I generally listen to heavy music - Metallica, Tool, Paradise Lost, Linkin Park, Rammstein, Slipknot, Evanescence plus a few Polish bands you most likely never heard about and my sister's band.
Currently, I'm listening to some ballads (Seether w/Amy Lee's Broken is my favourite...) and LP's Dedicated (favourite song of some person...).

Yeah nice list cheetos. I probably like all of those bands and I see you're a Chris Cornell fan too:) Lately I've been listening to Audioslave a lot, wow! The guy still has a great voice. Speaking of voices, I think my alltime favorite singer is Mike Patton (Faith no More, Mr Bungle), razor sharp and cristal clear.
Some bands that have earned a special place in my heart and always bring back sentiment are:
-The Smashing Pumpkins
-Alice in Chains
-Faith no More
-Soundgarden
-Tool
-Muse
-Radiohead
-Guns 'n' Roses
-Onyx
-Creed
-Aerosmith
-Queen
-Pearl Jam
-Pantera:)
-Metallica
-Nirvana
-The Doors
-U2
-INXS
-Van Halen
... to name a few that come to mind.
I think that as long as the music has a soul and is made with passion I can appreciate it. On the other hand I can also enjoy hardcore house (for a couple of minutes;), which can really wake me up and put a smile on my face.
