Bombs in the morning :(

Post by Jack Ruby »

I was on my way to work this morn, when I was stuck in traffic on the bus I heard on the drivers radio that the whole underground was closed down then a woman behind me got a call from her husband who told her a bomb had exploded at Liverpool St. I was about 1 min away from Liverpool St, I pass by there every morn, I got off the bus and walked on past all kinds of chaos, I have a broken rib so was really trying not to get bounced by people.

What a strange day.

I might get the tube tomorrow just to make a point that they wont stop us, even though the bus is just as dangerous, whatever bring it on.

I didnt see any panic, only anger, IM NOT TERRORISED OR IN FEAR OR SCARED, though the culprits claim that we are on their website??

RIP the innocent.

Just goes to prove terrorism is everywhere, in every country.

A lot of Americans believe it only happens to us, most don't know about the Muslim situation in Europe. :(

They say it is in retaliation for Iraq and Afghanistan - They have just given Mr. Bush and Mr. Blair more ammunition for their campaigns :?

Yea, it's really sad what's going on at the moment. The attack on London isn't only directed to england itself, but to the whole world. And like lizardkid said, terrorism is everywhere and this attack could also happened somewere else.

I say we're going to see another Blair-Bush Project quite soon...

I personally think it was directed on England itself, being the States' closest ally...

Which is incredibly ironic, considering our history :S

There's no way to fight an ideal, only with propaganda, which neither country is good at using for fighting other ideals. they can recruit and make their people think a lot of what they want, but they can't fight an ideal very well.

Maybe they choosed England because they're the closest ally of usa, but I'm absolutely sure it isn't only directed to england itself, but for the whole western community and maybe more.

Well this today was the start of the G8 meeting here, so it was an attempt at getting attention.

Such random madness, I take all different routes to work, whichever is quickest when im there, could so easily have been me and my lil bro that I was travelling with, he has kids and a wife, I told him to run and leave me if he had to (I cant run cos of my rib), we knew there were bombs going off all over.

it was strange walking through, wish I had a video camera

I hope it really makes the UK mad as hell and they proceed with the war effort. Unlike Spain!
Terrorist surely see Spain as a victory.
It's really sad, crazy ass ragheads murdering innocent people.

The pentagon has been the only ligitament target for these fools!

I don't think war is the solution. It reminds me of primary school when somebody broke something but no one would say who did it. What would the teachers do? Punish everyone around.

Do you think everyone in Afghanistan supported Bin Laden? Do you think every Iraqi had WMDs in his basement? You cannot catch a terrorist in open war, it's just like fighting a guerrilla. They only jump out of their mouseholes to strike and hide back as quickly as possible. When the frontline's drawing near, they'll just blend with the crowd of refugees and escape.

All this war fuss is just meant to cover helplessness.

Keep a stiff upper lip, Jack. One of our Presidents once said, "The only thing to fear is fear itself." I like what your PM said, after the attack, about British resolve.
