I just got back from another day up in town. The train was really quiet and solemn then I have to get a bus after, it was jammed with people, I went a couple of stops but was with my lil bro and said we should get off, as we pulled up to the stop there was another bomb alert and the police sealed off all the streets again.

We walked the rest of the way to work, stopping for breakfast on the way.

The bus was pretty freaky, I wasnt happy being on it, everyone was looking at everyone else and their luggage.

I hope they catch the culprits soon, knowing they are out there being hunted like animals says to me that they are likely to try to cause more chaos before they are caught.

Whatever, I still have to go to work, I wont stop doing what I do, not as happy and carefree doing it as I was but I WILL CONTINUE!

leaves me speechless and makes me angry and sad...
damn, i don't actually realize how lucky i am here to live in such a peaceful country (so far at least) ... i can't imagine how it must be to be on a bus where you might get hit by a bomb at any time - tbh i'm glad for that... so, maybe i should just shut up and not post in this thread.... it's easy for me to say that war is not the answer to terrorism... i dunno how i would react.
anyway, i feel truly sorry for what happened in london... yeah, keep it up, jack...

The latest bus bomb(failed bomb) was about 300 yds from my office.

I walked up there with a video camera, I will make a quicktime of it tomorrow and post a link.

Strange Days, still getting train and bus in the morning though :!:

B Team

Post by tltrude »

Over here they are calling it the "B" team's go at it--and that is why they failed.

Someone should tell them that the Yanks and The Brits will not "Go Home"--at least not until their oil wells run dry!

Yeah Tom, might be a good idea to go into the printing on rolls of tape business, sure to earn lots of cash.

The dude they shot yesterday was innocent I just saw on the news, well though its sad he left us, he shoulda Frickin known better than to run and try to get on the train what with all the crap happening right now.

I think it sends out a good warning to the perpetrators and also to the sympathetic muslim community, they just had a pole with them about it all, 10% think it was cool to bomb us, these are native Britains, they think it was ok to wreak havoc here, out of a population of 2 million ( or it might be 6 million, im not sure) that leaves at least 200,000 British Muslims who hate us enough to blow us up, or at least support the assholes doing it.

I think it now might be time to be using the Treason act against these people, they are Britains attacking Britains and the Treason Act is the only law we still have here where you can be Hung.

Time for a lot of these people to be taking the drop, well at least I THINK SO!!!

edit: I should shut up now but I wont, The bombs Thursday that didnt go off all were packed with nails, nuts and bolts. I have dodged 2 bombs by minutes in 2 weeks, I was literally 100 yds from Liverpool street in first round of attacks and my office is maybe 200-300yds from that bus on the clip, I still get the bus and train but I always check everyone out now, I see Asian people getting people staring at them, its really not very nice, for them or me or any of us, we all targets right now, I know that the Islamists believe that if a muslim gets caught up in the mess then thats cool cos Allah will look after those chosen few in heaven while the rest of us pigs go to hell.

I am beginning to see this Islam thing in the same light as the Japanese in WW2 thinking the Emperor was god on earth, total devotion to the cause. I admire their devotion to what they believe in but its just F***ing wrong way to go about things. We all know what happened to Japan to snap them out of their obscene behaviour, I really hope it does not come to that but can we really just sit back and take this crap forever ????

Yesterday morning for the first time I felt really uncomfortable about taking a jampacked subway (I live in the Netherlands). I don't really know what exactly triggered that feeling, probably a combination of the news on the bombing, the somewhat quiet tension that normally hangs there and of course people's luggage.
When I'm about to get on an aeroplane (I hate flying and rarely do) I always tend to get a little stressed out. I've been told that that's a natural reaction but the chance some mindf*cked moron also gets aboard makes me feel even more upset. And furious.

But I can not remember having such thoughts when taking the subway. I'm a quiet guy myself and don't like to be in overly crowded spaces. Because when things get outta hand there's not much you can do. The feeling I got that morning was like there was a gun being held to my head and all I could do was hope nothing was going to happen. Like a Russion Roulette. You d*mn well know something can happen yet still you take your chance, you simply have to. It made me think; we have the right to defend ourselves but why should we not have the right to know by whom we are being surrounded if we wanted to?
I am all for the idea of carrying some sort of Identification chip on you, or some chipcard that automatically gets scanned when you enter a building/get on public transportation. Or if there would be some way of scanning through peoples bags; scanners that react on certain materials. Privacy? We have our privacy but as expected some people rather use it for evil. In my opinion a little less privacy would be a reasonable sacrifice.

I know it would probably not be very practical to scan bags but the whole idea of prevention is knowing what or who you're dealing with. You can not prevent anything unless you're one step ahead; right now it's the other way around since people can carry what they want and you can only guess what that is. Would it really be so terrible to have people search your bags before you get on a bus? It would certainly make Me feel more at ease...

ban them both for complete and utter spamming. :D

I've never been in anything worse than natural disasters (sp?), a tornado when i was 6 and an earthquake last night, so i cant really know the tension of going on a bus or subway and wondering if there's a bomber there.

Must be quite a thrill.
