scripted lights

ok, i got my switchable(scripted) lights to work, but when i turn the lights on, the light goes through the walls and ceiling :? any way to fix this?

That's the drawback of using dynamic lights. Can't fix it.

that only works if the light isnt scripted in. :(

is there anyway i could create a light object and then in the script write:

$light hide

??? that might fix the prob :)

cant you change the size of the lights so it only lights up a small area?

that might work, but how do i do that to scripted lights? is this where you change the amount of light?:

$light light 1 1 1 >>206<<

light <red value> <green value> <blue value> <intensity>

the higher tha value the brighter the light, the last value determines the radius of the sphere of light.
