DRAGING ERROR

I am trying to make a map but everytime try to drag it brush it says"Illegal brush move, move canceled" so I can't even make anything the right size! plz help me...

Well normally you get that "Illegal brush move"-error when you accidentally drag a side of a brush too close to the opposite side. Meaning the brush would lose it's volume. So it sounds like you're resizing the brush instead of actually dragging/moving it.
To drag a whole brush, first select it (Shift+Leftclick) then click somewhere inside the brushes' boundaries and hold down the Leftmouse while dragging. When a brush is selected, you can also move it by holding down Alt + arrowkeys. It will then move in steps according to the Grid setting.
