Hi.
I wondered how to make a fence whitout the nasty two sides...
I allready tried to place nodraw on it but that didnt work
To give u an idea...
This is how it is:

Maybe you select all the sides and press ctrl+f.

I mean that when i make my fence i want it to look like one single brush...
Like a railing on southern france but i always made it 1 unit small but i still got the uly tecture on both sides

I didn't fix it.
I just left it the way it was. Maybe set the grid to 1 and make it real thin. Then apply and ctrl+f.

Some textures are rendered on both sides of a surface, such a fence and netting. Create a brush with the texture caulk and then select just one surface to texture. This will stop the double image.

Yep! Fences and similar stuff should have nodraw on all sides but one!! When you look at the fence in mohradiant you should see the fence on one side of the brush and the nodraw on the other....if you do that it will look OK in game!

Caulk will do the same thing, and if you use it as religiously as I do, you don't have to hunt down nodraw.

Use nodraw for it's nonsolid whereas caulk is solid.

Yes! Make sure you use nodraw on fences, or else you might not be able to shoot through it! at least not from both sides
