Post by RamSes »

ok, i have skybox, and in that i have a house.
the house has for the moment no windows or doors in the walls around.
so its also a closed box.
i do a pointfile, no problem.

i create an opening in the wall to make a door to go outside.
do pointfile, i suddenly have a leak ?????????

whats wrong???

and the red line goes out of the house through a solid wall ... ???

please, help...

leak

The important part of the red line is where it ends out in the void. Your skybox must be sealed and have no cracks for the red line to go through.

The red line ends just out of my skybox...
so i must assume that my skybox has a crack?
but, i don't think so, i already remaked it.

my skybox exists off 6 pieces, and they fit nicely together...

caulk

As a test, place a large caulk box around your skybox and hollow it out. Then recompile to see if the red line is gone. Do not adjust the caulk box wall brushes--just let them overlap.
