Lighting Excapes

Post by Xtr3meG »

Hello. I have a simple problem and cannot find the solution. When I make a room with lighting inside, the light escapes out of the sides into the adjoining rooms. It is really annoying when several rooms have different coloring effects. Any help would be appreciated

Make sure the rooms walls are tuching and when making the light set the value lower so when you look at the light area (big Circle) it dosent pass throught the walls.
Keep the circle within the walls try that.

Also, you can bevel the wall brushes where they meet in the corners--like a picture frame.

Lights can be reduced in size by hitting key N and adding:

Key: light
Value: 100

The default value is 300, so anything smaller will reduce the size. You can also increase the size with numbers over 300.
