There is a manual in the docs folder for terrain (LOD) editing. It is named, MOH Terrain Editing Manual.

If i got your meaning right, you wanted a bomb that goes off in the game to make a crater in the ground right?

You'll want to make your crater with LOD, cover it with a bit of ground, put your bomb on it, and blow it up.

Lod is startlingly easy, make an LOD patch, hit V, and learn :P it's very simple.

Word Viewer

Here is the url to download the latest "Word Viewer 2003".

Making terrain look good is almost an art form, so it will take some time to learn it.

Thanks Rookie One.pl! I had been using Wordpad to view .doc files and there were no graphics--only text.

to finer detail lizard kids statement:

1) Make an LOD terrain crater as then cover it with a standard brush with the same texture. Make it a func_barrel and place the bomber on it, then when the bomb blows theres a crater there.

2) Make an LOD terrain crater as then cover it with a standard brush with the same texture. Make it a script_object. Name it $crater_cover or something like that. Then in ur script at the same second the bombs blows up put a "$crater_cover remove" or something like that. Can someone check my syntax on that?

hope this helps

func_barrel? don't you mean func_crate ? You can cover the crater with a patch mesh too and make it a script_object and remove it when the bomb blows .
