err yea... the smell thing aside... i do think they lick wounds to keep them clean... course im not a bioligist.

My cat had an enormous hole in her side from a fight, it was hard to treat for the vet, but it did not become infected, before or after.

so my dog licks me so that I will throw up for it to eat? sick... lol

I am getting a kitty froma mate in a few weeks... and it will lick me cause it wil love me!

Another thing about cats.

A male will kill kittens, from another male, so the female will come into heat again.

they all forgot thier 'strength in numbers' training from the defensive grazing for herd animals class at the community college.
