No separate sign. We write 100 kronor as 100 kr ( so I guess the "sign" is kr ).
The international symbol is SEK ( Like USD for dollars ).

Anyone ever try a 3D desktop? I once saw one that was a rotatable cylinder.

I have this talent, for nearly wherever i go i make friends like these... :)

I agree, i've never tried Linux. But after reading all i can about it, my conclusion:
it's a grad's try at making an OS. inefficient, illogical, it's structured differently and takes a different approach to security than normal, but being oddly structured is that about all that protects it. It certainly is cool that people can make OS's, but from what i see, this is just another wannabe to Windows. :(

Plus the amount of piracy and such it endorses is terrible, as if cracks and serials weren't bad enough, it comes bundled with about $200 (minimum)worth of hackedware, 1/4 of which the average user would use. (The rest is compilers, advanced maintenance programs, diagnostics, etc)
A lot of those cute little distributions they package? about 75% of those are professional programs rewritten just enough to fit Linux. (http://www.linux.org/apps/index.html)

But i suppose the whole reason for trying a new OS is going out on a limb. Can't blame anyone for that. And it's a step up from Mac, so it's not totally evil :P

But you're totally right, i've never tried it. How can i make a judgement based on other people's experiences?
