Angel Decoy

Post by hogleg »

These are photos of an Air Force C-130 releasing flares to repel heat seeking Missiles. The pattern formed by these "decoys" are how they got their name . . . Angel decoy. It's absolutely awesome!

Maneuvers are usually in remote areas and over water, therefore the general public does not get to view these exercises.

I had a huge poster once of a E-3A Sentry Spyplane with those heat flares, it was really cool.
I see those E-3A Sentry planes like every week in the sky, there is an airport base which is used for US military planes near my place. 'Geilenkirchen' was the name of the base if I'm right, a good friend of my dad works there and I was able to have a look out there once and I've also been able to have a look inside this spyplane 8-).

Also because of the war in afghanistan and iraq and other war locations, military planes which came from this airfield sometimes fly over my house in the night. I can remember a spectacular night 10 years ago, about 80 to 100 of military planes came over my house within a hour with some fighters in formation.

i'm not much of a metal fan, light metal as that is, just the sound of people destroying their guitars and ripping out their vocal cords was never appealing to me...

but lol, that was a good clip. they had some Angel Decoy footage in there.

Lol, Lizard, if you call this metal you never did hear metal. Drowning Pool's very light, and the vocalist has a rather weak voice, all he can do is screaming.

Metal really isn't about destroying guitars and screaming. I'd advise you to try Fanatic - www.fanaticalproductions.net - his music is great. He should give the vocals part to somebody else (his voice sucks ass ;) ), though. :P
