Custom Font question

Post by LiquorKraZy »

Kinda lost on this...i just made a website using a custom font, then uploaded it to a host but people who dont have that font cant see the custom font and only see the standard font such as Times New Roman...my question is, is there any possible way to host custom fonts or enable it so that people can visit the website and see it exactly as you made it even though they dont have the fonts on their side? or is this even possible?

Other than turning your text into an image, no. People with all kinds of operating systems (even Apple) will view your site, so it is best to use a standard Windows font. You can control the size and color of the font, but you can't force them to download your favorite font. Their browser security would not allow it anyway.
