I am working on a custom made rack/shelf. Does anybody could tell me please how i can connect several brushes to one single common brush to drag and copy it easily.
i dont know if this all would work with the textures. but anyway i would be happy to have only one texture for the whole rack.
thank you all for your help!

Connecting brushes possible?

Ctrl U
My guess is you have not read the "Tip of The Day" sticky thread.

Join two brushes together:
Select the two brushes you would like join together and press ctrl+u. This can easily be remembered as "union". The brushes must be aligned the same on the grid, and certain shapes can not be joined. Using this makes for a much cleaner map.

As it says, it will not join brushes that could not of been one brush to start with.

You can also use 'select complete tall'
Select all the brushes by making a new brush (in TOP view) over the subject you want to copy.
Like the tower in the image.
then go to Selection/select complete tall.
All the brushes are now selcted and all you have to do is Copy and move it to where ever you want.

func_group
Also look into making it a "func_group". Doing that makes it one entity. So, you can highlight one brush and hit Ctrl E to highlight the entire group.
