They are incredibly talented at what they do, so your threats mean nothing to them.

It's best just to admit defeat and ask them to stop doing it in a civilised manner.
No talent needed for Apache hacking, only knowledge and time. Apache is a freeware with tons of documentation. Network hacking just requires tools available everywhere. It doesn't require smartness as development does.

They don't even hide their IP. They didn't even prevent their forum from being pinged ( 205.209.164.80 ) . A simple tracert shows they are located in California. Plus their tits page is a basic html file.
For those who want to have fun and dont want to give their a*s to them, you can find a cool packet forger here: http://www.engagesecurity.com/downloads ... ketbuilder
with docs and examples.
Will we let our home burn and say thank you ?
great if somebody can actually back that up and fight them at their own game :)

but I haven't seen it happening as yet :s

our home is currently a smoking wreck......

thiers is still shiny and new...

I have no clue whatsoever about hacking/counter hacking/defense but from what I can see they are currently winning hands down.

I have doubts that TmT will be back up anytime soon.

it looks like tmt is getting worse... now they got suspened both pdwebs and all pdwebs hosting. which me the company that trent pays to resell space has stopped giving him servive because of something happening.

TMT needs a refuge to hide out in if ya ask me. some place trent can just redirect the domain to while he works on fixing tmt.

There will always be people/groups with more talent. karma's b***h. They will pick on the wrong crowd one of these days and it will backfire in their faces.

Well, if I was Trent, I would suspend the account to prevent further attacks untill I had secured the box, and restored the forum. Wether he suspended it, or they did it for him it is proberbly for the best.

As long as he has backups off the box TMT was hosted on it will be fine. If he doesn't, then we just have to hope that backups on the box wernt deleted...

Losing more than 3 years, 10,000 members and more than 100,000 posts of MoH, CoD and other modding information does not bare thinking about.

At one point tmt_forums.sql was downloadable from the index. I tried to dl it just incase, but only got 120 MB of 550 or so before it was removed by somebody. :x

nevertheless it sucks...

Trent has probably disabled all action on his box manually, G-ns would probably have advertised a bit more if they still had control.

Hope Trent will be able to fix it sooner or later...

That guy MUSSSST have been joking abotu the incredibly talented bit?

I mean seriously?

People cant really think these guys are some kind of einsteins?

Odds are there is one or two in the group who has any real knowledge of anything, and its not necessary for any of them to have any talent whatsoever except or unless you refer to the 'lack of a moral compass' a talent.

This is not a small niche that only a few very smart people can fill... this is an area that onyl a few repugnant people have low enough self esteem to fill. Its more about the lack of ego and the need to feel big then any talent and or intelligence.

And everyone should have backups of thier foruyms off site, preferrably in multiple places... that is after all the genius of the digital age, not exploiting the ease of information distribution is criminal =/ Your own provider is as likely to screw your site up as hackers half the time =p BE PREPARED! have backups.
