Can't load map.

Post by Classic »

I'v compiled my map with Mpbuilder to a .bsp but can't find it when I go to start game, and can't pullit up from MOHAA console, because MOHAA console says it can't find it. The only thing diffrent from my set up and the totorials is that my map folder is under mohaa not mohaa/main. This is because there was a file called maps in mohaa/main. Is that suposed to be there? Tanks for any help. I'm stuck. :?

Location for dm, tdm and rbm --> \main\maps\dm\
Location for obj --> \main\maps\obj\
Location for sp --> \main\maps\

The .bsp file should be inside one of these folders. U can change the location in Mbuilder if u like or just copy the file to it.

There is a file named map uner the main folder, so I can make a folder under main.

did you remember to change map builder to tdm/ffa before you compiled ? you can also start aa or spearhead, bring down console, and type in maplist , and you should be able to find it somewhere in there.

Yes, you can create a folder named "dm" inside the main/maps folder. If you put the bsp file in there, it should show up under Free For All or Team Match in the game.
