Okay I have searched and seen that a lot of people are having this same problem but your fix for them didn't work for me. I wanted to see if you had any other fixes.
I am getting the Max_Surface_Info error.
Here is a pic of my main folder as you can see I don't have any custom .pk3.
Please I have this program on my laptop and I can compile no problems. I just wanted to move it to my desktop. I moved the same maps I was working on from the laptop and all the prefabs and everything. But still I get this error please help.

I think that means that there is too much gradient in a certain part of your terrain (which means the slope is too steep... make there be less of a slope).
The very first stage of compilation is where the bsp is made. Did you get this error during the bsp stage, or did it occur during the vis stage or light stage? Either way, something is messed up and I'm not quite sure what it is. Good luck.
You should see in radiant when part of the terrain is too steep the verts turn yellow they must all be pink . Max surface info usually means too many shaders and when they tell you to take all custom pk3 out of main that is for when you are playing AA for SH and BT you have to take the custom pk3's out of those directories too or at least enough of them to stop the error .
I just want to say thanks again for all the help but I have another question.
I am now getting this error.
