Setting The Setsize Of A Player

Post by Tanner8 »

Hey guys, as you see im new here :)

Well I brought this question to TMT and they didnt have a way of doing this efficiantly so i decided to give you guys a shot and see if you can maybe think of somthing.

I ran a search and found a thread on this but nothing was really answered. I want to make the box of a player bigger so when he is a giant bullets doing go right through his head or chest. The setsize
( -16 -16 0 ) ( 16 16 96 ) only works for making boxes smaller. If I want a person 3 times their size i would do

local.player.scale 3
local.player setsize ( -16 -16 0 ) ( 16 16 288 )

but that has no effect on making the box bigger. How can I go about doing this whithout killing myself trying. Thanks!

Maybe you could bind a setsized trigger to the players with appropriate spawnflags?

I was thinking of doing that but I dont know how to use spawnflags at all. Also I wanted to make it so you arms arent way down there since i I changed the camera view. I wanted to brign the arms up so it looks normal on your screen and is just not way down there. Also I wanted to make the player solid so he cant fit through doors or anything when hes big because then his head will stick up out of everything and all.

setsize doesn't matter for bullet hit detection. The reason why you can't hit a big player is that there's a rather silly bug inside mohaa as gettagposition doesn't take scale into account. I wouldn't know a solution :(
