What is this glitch

After making and compiling my map I went in to test it and i got this glitch when i looke up..........It flashes and disappears when you walk........what is it and how do i get rid of it?

Had this years ago and cant recall the answer.
Try breaking your railing up into smaller sections ie:

_____ _____ _____
| | | | | | | | | | | |

so the top section does not touch too many virticies.

I remember seeing that when I used the CSG Subtract tool to cut into walls. Have you used that feature at all?

thanks for the help..........I divided up the railing and now it does not do that.......wonder why it did it in the first place............must be a limit to the length of them or something..........thanks again for the help

It does that when you have to many posts, that are the same width, as the railing. So there are two ways to fix it, the one you used, and by making the posts smaller than the rial. This error also show up on very long ladders for the same reason.
