.scr files

I have created a map and have the .bsp, .lin, and .vis. I know i need the .scr files but i have no idea what those are or where to get them. Can some one help please.

That tutes good, but what I do is steal one of the screen savers from the original maps using winzip, open with notepad, and rename it. Save it as whatever your map name is and put .scr at the end. You can make changes to it as you need.

true, same deal. but if you don't know how to make a .scr and you just copy one from a map, it may have a ton of functions in it that aren't in your map and could screw the map up.

Thats true, but thats where the "make changes as you need" part comes in.

Well for a start mr bounty hunter having a .lin file is nothing to brag about my man!
This implies that you have a leak within your map if i recall correctly.
a scr (script file) is not generated with the compile but is easily obtained from the origional script files (scr) .
Now you do not have to be a scripting guru to be able to utilise the basic functionality.
Simply grab a scr from another map, open it with notepad and examine what you see, believe me it is not 1/2 as complicated as 1st thought when you take the time to understand it.
Enquire here for further guidence.
