Rebuilding

Just curious if anyone has ever rebuilt the Destroyed village map and made it back to a thriving village before it was destroyed............I am doing that now and actually haveng some fun with it.......if anyone else has I would love to see their handywork.......

there was a map out that someone made that was kinda close to the Full version of DV...but i thought it coulda been done better...don't remember the name of it tho sorry...good luck to ya!

As far as I know only the church has been reconstructed and put together into a prefab with all furniture and stuff. Look for it on these forums ("the church on Destroyed Village before it was destroyed").

i know there's one out there (full map) but can't think of who or what the map was called but the whole thrust of the map was what it looked like before it became destroyed village. i'm sure it was released here or on TMT.

It looks similar in spots to the one I worked on for a while but never finished, but the walls seem too thin in many areas, there's a quite a bit of redundancy, and the textures needed to be resized. Lot of work went into it though. Hats off.................. different minds, different outcomes.

That's funny I thought about this a while ago but never started it

I did however start to change Destroyed Village a bit.
Never liked the church so I decided to mix some parts of The Hunt into the Destroyed Village.
I also opened up some new places.

That looks nice. How on earth were you able to copy the church from The Hunt? Did you decompile the bsp and just redo the church or what?

I'm guessing he used the MOH:AA Sourcemaps
