Locked door question

Follow the locked do tut and added the script line to my script, but when i use them in the map they swivel from the middle.

easy fix???

Sounds like your origin and the door were not selected together when func_rotatingdoor was applied.

Ah....so basically you need to do everything you would do to make a rotatingdoor and then add the locked door scripts.

Silly me....i forgot the origins :oops:

heh .. I like to mess with the origins. Putting it above the door is fun, opens up like those weird garage doors.

I like to make a door that has the hinge right in the middle, so it rotates around its center. Then I make the speed pretty fast, and have it do massive damage if a player gets stuck. Anytime they open, it spins, hits em in the ass, and kills them. Spinning door of death! Muahahaha. :twisted:

Why use a func_rotatingdoor for a locked door? :roll:

I think that he is following "lockable door" not locked door.
