I'm not a good mapper either. I'm a pretty good critic though........lol

Put it on ice and look at it 2 years from now. Make up your own mind

The "other" map, which I tried yesterday, I only loaded once, and sometimes if you load maps a second time, they "play" a little better. The map I loaded today still has lagg in a few spots....low fps. From the allies side, looking and going across the bridge, at the kraut side of the bridge, I pick up lag around the oil tank, and in the church as I get up a flight of steps. Also at the very end of the tunnel........... Keep workin at it.

Forgot, when I get to the explosions in the water, I get lag. I haven't tried putting explosions in using radiant, but mine don't lagg.... the ones I scripted in. Don't think, or don't know if there should be a difference or not. Maybe there are too many in one spot, or was that a trigger multiple ?....

As far as, "what should I do", .... use your imagination. If you look at my rendition, I used mine, Just rip stuff apart, add stuff, alter things................blah,blah,blah...... go fo it. They are free maps to screw with man.............

Xeno,

I believe my impression would be similiar to that with the recent map "Place De Ville" by Unknowme. Regardless of the style of the map (because some maps are realism and some are unorthodox) I am left with the feeling that the map is not finished.

Take the time to sow up any loose corners, visible leaks, or texture problems. Make something you can be proud of - rather than something thats thrown together so you can hurry and play it.

Mapping itself can be rewarding (more than the game itself can offer) The longer your project takes to have a fine finished product. The more you get out of it.

Uhm the explosions in the canal they come from that flak88 in the left corner of the alliedside.
and yes they are triggered
